Before summer comes to an end, I wanted to share this cute gauze top which also comes in mustard, red and black. It’s perfect for date night or a casual weekend outfit. This isn’t a shirt I would wear to work without some type cami though!
I splurged on these Chloe wedges a few months ago, and I’ve been wearing them non-stop this summer! They are quite comfortable for a high heel – I actually wore these to The Voice auditions where I was standing for hours in line, as you can imagine. No, I didn’t make it to the next round, but it was fun! I’ve been trying to “let” myself buy the items that I love. It’s easy sometimes to fill our closets with items that we don’t really love – I’m definitely guilty of letting a sale price influence or an impulse buy! So the last two seasons, I have made a wardrobe vision board / capsule board and tried to visualize the splurge item in my wardrobe. Once I know I can get enough wear out of it, I feel more confident in my purchase! And if possible, I buy during a gift card event with Neiman’s of Saks ,etc. (I WISH Nordstrom did those!).
Another repeat item you will see – The Louis Vuitton Eva clutch and crossbody purse in the Damier Azur print has been such a well-used item! Hubby gets the credit for this – he came home with a random gift a couple of years ago. What can I say? He spoils me! The light print pairs well with so much and it has a long, removable strap for crossbody wear.
I found these Quay “Needing Fame” sunglasses (ha!) on Amazon for $30! I can’t explain why they were one sale, but I snagged them and a day later they were back at full price.
If you come here often, you will definitely notice repeat items. I love when I see bloggers re-wearing items – to me it shows authenticity and means that it is something they love and find versatile! So the moral of the story – let’s fill our closets with less “stuff” and more that we love!
